Take Action!
We are not powerless.
Things you do NOW can make a difference.
We don't have to wait for election day.
As a matter of fact, that's kind of how we got into this mess. People let small issues go without protest so the elite take more and more.
(Instead of repeating ourselves about WHY take any action at all, here's our page of statistics about US Capitalism.)
#60millionVoters
The US population in 2024 was approximately 340m.
In the 2024 election the republican candidate won 77m.
In the 2024 election the democratic candidate won 75m.
Neither established party has stopped the middle class from shrinking. Neither party has helped common people.
In 2021, 50% of American adults lived in middle-income households. This is a decrease from 61% in 1971.
A block of 60 million PCP voters could sway an election by taking enough away from the two established parties to create a majority.
Do we want immigration reform?
Do we want insurance reform?
Do we want simple terms and condition agreements?
Do we want job adverts that reflect actual pay and duties?
We're not getting these things unless we demand them.

SONC-T2025
STATEMENT OF NO CONFIDENCE
in the US executive administration 2025
In response to the events of early 2025 we present to history an symbol of the people's opposition to the madness that has overtaken the US federal government.
Find a Rally
First and foremost stay safe! (Best practices) Plan ahead. Be prepared. No violence no disruption or leave the area. Yes to filming, chanting, and signs. Know the organizers. Have an out.
Check here to find upcoming rallies
in your area:
https://www.findaprotest.info
Also:
• Rallies will be posted on your favorite orgs' SM pages
• Keep up to date with your area on NextDoor.com
Note: Many organizations suggest arranging a meetup at local city hall parking lots. These may be common meeting places rather than city protests. Ethical cities deserve our support, as much as unethical policies deserve our ire. Rallies can be big or small, they're just a visible groups making a point to decision makers and the public at large.
You can start a rally, help at one, attend one, or share.
Sign a Petition
Petitions work. Your voice is important.
Tell two friends and we'll have a movement.
Why Do Petitions Work?
Petitions serve a valuable purpose.
Using the concept of implied consent, voters should express any disapproval of current policies else lawmakers may conclude that the voters “are okay” with the issue. In short, we have to TELL them if something's not okay or they'll go ahead and do it.
Petitions let decision makers know that people are watching and concerned with an expected outcome.
Petitions are not a magic solution but they remind the elite that we outnumber them.
We host our petitions on Change.org to make them as accessible to the public as possible. Browse and sign all petitions that appeal to you.
NOTE: PAYING IS NOT NECESSARY! Every petition on Change.org auto-asks for advertising money. It's automatic but voluntary so you can safely ignore every one of those requests.
Another major artery for petitions is Moveon.org.

Get Involved with PCP
Capitalism has skewed too far toward the elite.
In our jobs, our purchases, even our civil rights (in the land of the free) we are squeezed to comply with rules that give every benefit and protection to large corporations, instead of the end users who pay for everything with either their consumer dollars or their labor time.
We are reasonable people seeking reasonable solutions.

Where to Direct Your Actions
Government Representatives
We have many representatives in government.
These officials are supposed to oversee various government issues toward the ultimate wellbeing of their constituents.
Are your representatives working in the best interest of your community?
Corporations
The best way to make your concerns know to a corporation is to reach out to their social media pages. Large corporations have entire public relations departments and people whose job it is to keep the public happy.
If the public shows overwhelming outrage, those PR departments are going to look to the CEO to address the situation. If the situation is not addressed then boards of directors may be unhappy as well.
Never harass anyone but if you have a legitimate concern about something don't hesitate to make your voice heard.
Find the offending company's pages on your favorite social media platform and say your piece. By doing that you not only make YOUR point but also give courage to others to stand up and say something.
If you want to contact a CEO or board of directors directly you can often find that information with quick internet searches:
"(company) board of directors address"
"(company) ceo email"
"(company) headquarters address"
We caution people to not show up at a corporate headquarters unless part of a coordinated peaceful demonstration.

Contact Representatives
You can see from the list above that there are over 200,000 government representatives throughout the USA.
No matter where you live in the US you probably have:
1 President
1 US Representative
2 US Senators
1 Governor
2 Stare Representatives
1 County Executive
1 County Sheriff
1 City Mayor or Township Supervisor
1+ City/Township Council Member
1- Chief of Police
1+ School board members
That's at least a dozen government officials who make the laws we live by. If we want to change the laws we have to work with elected officials.
Find contact information for your congressperson at:
https://www.commoncause.org/find-your-representative/
The nonpartisan group CommonCause.org offers a comprehensive list from federal to local representatives.
What should you say?
Tell them what action you want them to take. Be concise. Be polite. Be specific. We have example letters here.
How often should you write?
Writing once a month is reasonable to show support for a specific issue.
Did you know you can write to the president?
We don't know if this will get you put on a list but here goes...

Coordinated Mail Campaigns
If a large number of people email their congress person on the same day it can make a bigger impact.
Of course we never intend to disrupt official proceedings or harass anyone. But if people are outraged they are going to contact their government representatives.

Become a PCP Candidate
Elections happen every 2-4 years to select lawmakers. January 2025 has opened the door to making big changes.
Do we want to tax billionaires?
Do we want universal health care?
Do we want consumers' and workers' rights?
Do we want to elect ethical and honest politicians?
(yes the last one is a minefield)
Are you an upstanding citizen? No dog-whistles here, just saying basically honest and ethical. You can run for your city council or school board, or dive right in and campaign for state congress. Feeling popular? Go higher!
Can we preach for a minute?
If the masses want to achieve that vision they have to ASK for specific things, specific laws, specific rights.
The ultimate goal is to prevent and reverse the elite skewing the game.
Are these the kind of things you could campaign on?
1. Insurance companies cannot deny if two doctors request.
2. Gig app companies must refund with proof, must pay living wage.
3. Banks must offer to cancel subscriptions with 30 day notice.
4. Job ads must reflect accurate pay and duties.
5. National minimum wage $15 for employers of 25+ people.
6. Medicare for all.
7. Books/music bought online are yours to (personally) keep.
8. Right to repair.
9. Net neutrality.
10. Tax wealth, reduce national debt, use interest for infrastructure.
11. No tariffs on allies. No invading allies. No aid for war crimes.
12. Streamlined immigration process.
Laws exist at state and local levels also.
We encourage party members to campaign for local positions of influence to move our vision forward, closer to home.
1. Homelessness problem
2. Police brutality
3. Local job ads
4. Education initiatives
5. Help people get jobs
6. Paid to volunteer
7. Handicap access
8. Quality child care
9. Tidying the area
10. Housework for seniors
How to pay for this? A cap on wealth.
There are fewer wealthy people than regular people. If regular people VOTED for their own interests, we could even the playing field a little.
Not every city has wealthy people because wealth is concentrated at the top. We all need to work toward having some of that trickle down to society's base, the citizenry.
Tax billionaires and their corporations.
They got their money from us.
Make it cycle back.
